New Portfolio in Idea Line: Gold

IskraIndex announces the launch of a new model portfolio as part of the "Idea" line, with a fixed allocation of 30% to the iShares IAU gold ETF (assets under management: $73 billion). The remainder of the portfolio consists of an optimal combination of funds from the Deposit+ portfolio. The portfolio structure is optimized and updated once a month.

A distinctive feature of the portfolio is that its historical track record since August 2019 has demonstrated significantly better risk-return metrics than a portfolio consisting of 100% gold ETF, while maintaining nearly the same average annual return. A three times smaller allocation to gold allows investors to feel confident in the event of potential sharp corrections in gold prices or their transition into a long-term sideways trend - the remaining portion of the portfolio is designed to help quickly recover losses from corrections and maintain a high average level of portfolio return.
